Zipline

Mega Zipline – Iceland’s Longest Zipline

Just 45 minutes from Reykjavík, Mega Zipline offers one of Iceland’s most thrilling adventures. From the Kambar plateau above Hveragerði, visitors fly 1 kilometre across the dramatic Svartagljúfur gorge, enjoying waterfalls, canyon views, and the stunning landscape near the Reykjadalur hot spring valley.

Two parallel lines allow guests to fly side-by-side. Choose a seated harness for a relaxed glide, or go headfirst for a faster adrenaline rush, reaching speeds close to 100 km/h. For an extra thrill, Mega Zipline also offers a 13-metre free-fall drop inspired by Iceland’s cliff-diving puffins.

Getting There
The easiest way to reach Mega Zipline is by car. Enter Hveragerði or Reykjadalur in Google Maps or Apple Maps and follow Route 1 from Reykjavík. The drive is about 50 km (45 minutes).

Bus No. 51 also runs from Reykjavík to Hveragerði, but the stop is about 4 km from the reception centre, so visitors should be prepared to walk or take a short taxi ride.

Important: Please arrive about 20 minutes before your booking and dress in windproof clothing and sturdy shoes, as Icelandic weather can change quickly.
